Ms. Jenny Zeng

OCT, M.A.Sc

Ms. Zeng received her M.A.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo and her B.Ed. from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. Before she started her education career in Canada she began by working as a lecturer at Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China. 

Since joining the Ontario College of Teachers in 2008, Ms. Zeng has been deeply involved in the field of education in Toronto. She taught Math and Computer Science at the high school level between 2008 and 2016; first with the Conference of Independent Schools and then with the Toronto District School Board. Beginning in 2017 she has been a co-founder and vice principal of Wells Academy.

Ms. Zeng has a strong belief in whole-child education. She highly values the “Four C’s.” These are goals that high quality education programs should strive to cultivate in young learners: Critical thinking; Collaboration; Creativity, and Communication. Since the school’s inception Ms. Zeng has been working closely with Dr. Zhao and their dedicated staff members to provide academic enrichment programs in numerous subjects for all grade levels. Stemming from her passion to help shape the minds of the next generation, she’s been responsible for launching a wide variety of educational events and initiatives to engage the students and parents of Wells Academy.
